Shipping Rates and Policies

Fall Dahlia Sale - FALL SHIPPING

All current sales are for FALL SHIPPING. This is for experienced dahlia growers who are comfortable storing tubers over the winter. Many seasoned growers enjoy getting their tubers early to start them or take cuttings before spring.

  • Order period: September–October 2025
  • Shipping: First two weeks of November
  • Fall Shipment Policy: Buyers are responsible for winter storage and care. We cannot replace tubers that mold or rot while in your care.

Sanitation Practices

We take flower health seriously! To keep our blooms at their best, we remove any plants that show signs of disease (even though it breaks our hearts). For the same reason, only our team handles the cutting—no u-pick—and we sanitize tools between cuttings. While we cannot guarantee virus-free plants, we do our very best to keep our flowers healthy, fresh, and beautiful.

Shipping

We offer simple, flat-rate shipping for all dahlia tubers:

  • 1–4 tubers: $11
  • 5–8 tubers: $16
  • 9 or more tubers: $20

Shipping will be calculated at checkout.

Shipping is the financial responsibility of the buyer and must be paid prior to shipment. Orders are tracked, and tracking information will be sent to the email provided. If no email is given, we cannot provide tracking updates, and the buyer assumes responsibility for the package.

Standard delivery is 3–4 business days, but please be mindful of shipping times in colder climates. Once your package is with the carrier, we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or delayed shipments.

We kindly ask that customers check with household members, pets, or neighbors before reporting a “missing” package. Our team works hard to carefully prepare each order, and we rely on the shipping carriers to deliver safely.

*We do not offer Combined Shipping at this Time

Order Cancellation

Cancellations can only be made in severe circumstances—for example, if there’s a true emergency like a house fire (proof will be required). We’re unable to cancel orders for reasons like overspending.

Please note: a 20% restocking fee will be applied to any refund.

Changes to Existing Orders

We’re unable to make changes to orders once they are placed. Adjusting orders can lead to mistakes with availability, pricing, and shipping. We appreciate your understanding!

When You Receive Your Tubers

  • Check promptly: Inspect your tubers the day they arrive and email us within 48 hours if there’s any issue. Photos and/or videos are required.
  • Open right away: Tubers hold moisture—remove them from the box immediately to prevent drying or rot.
  • Planting tips: Some varieties take longer to sprout. Patience is key!
  • Issues & replacements: Email us politely with photos or a video. We’ll work with you to replace or refund if needed. Blind tubers usually just need time to wake up. A rotted tuber in the ground is not cause for replacement or refund. While we try very hard to keep the tubers labeled correctly, mistakes happen. If a tuber has been mislabeled, email us with pictures. We will provide either a replacement or credit toward the next season. We do not issue a refund for a mislabel.
  • Unavailable items: If a tuber can’t be shipped due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you and give you the option of a refund or substitute variety.
